Aloha Angels Support our After School Clubs

Kilauea School Children enjoy after school clubs! For the last five years, Aloha Angels has sponsored after school mentoring clubs on Kauai to provide a plethora of options for Kauai's children in elementary and middle school. Over 3,000 children have benefitted from the vast array of after school clubs funded by Aloha Angels, Philanthropists Partnering for a more perfect Kauai.

Congratulations Kilauea School students and staff for taking our Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) to new heights through SHINE (Supporting, Honoring, Inspiring, Nurturing and Encouraging) students for success. A big Mahalo goes out to Heather Cornell, Juday Leong, Judy Waite, Naomi Yokotake, Jeremy Brown and Brandon Krovoza as well as all the students who recently participated in hosting Mrs. Tara Taitano Secretary, Communications Branch at the Hawaii State Department of Education. The Island Insurance Foundation recognized 14 outstanding Hawaii Public School principals nominated for its 15th annual Masayuki Tokioka Excellence in School Leadership Award on Saturday March 30, 2019. Congratulations to Principal Sherry Gonsalves for her recognition and best of luck!

Food (Chicken Pesto Pasta (some vegetarian) & Salad, Goodies from the Bake Sale, and School Shirts will be sold from 5:30-6:30pm.
Learn how you can be more involved in enriching your child’s education this school year. Your ideas and input are welcomed. Join the PTSA’s efforts to support Kilauea School!
Bring a book or two for Kilauea Bakery’s BOOKS FOR READING Program. Adult paperback fiction and non-fiction sell best~ Kids’ books (in good condition) also. Come learn about Gather Federal Credit Union’s Financial Literacy Program and Girl & Boy Scout programs.
After the dinner/meeting, visit your child’s classroom, meet their teacher, fellow students, and their families. Classrooms will be closed until the meeting has ended in the cafeteria.
