Kilauea School Children enjoy after school clubs! For the last five years, Aloha Angels has sponsored after school mentoring clubs on Kauai to provide a plethora of options for Kauai's children in elementary and middle school. Over 3,000 children have benefitted from the vast array of after school clubs funded by Aloha Angels, Philanthropists Partnering for a more perfect Kauai.
Congratulations Kilauea School students and staff for taking our Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) to new heights through SHINE (Supporting, Honoring, Inspiring, Nurturing and Encouraging) students for success. A big Mahalo goes out to Heather Cornell, Juday Leong, Judy Waite, Naomi Yokotake, Jeremy Brown and Brandon Krovoza as well as all the students who recently participated in hosting Mrs. Tara Taitano Secretary, Communications Branch at the Hawaii State Department of Education. The Island Insurance Foundation recognized 14 outstanding Hawaii Public School principals nominated for its 15th annual Masayuki Tokioka Excellence in School Leadership Award on Saturday March 30, 2019. Congratulations to Principal Sherry Gonsalves for her recognition and best of luck!
Friday, January 17th from 5:45-8pm, join us for a fun night of hands on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, & Math) activities for your family and check out all the cool 5th/6th grade Science Fair projects-winner will be announced at the event-FREE dinner and prizes too!
On January 14th at 5:30 in the KMS Cafeteria, 6th grade students (or 5th grade planning to go to KMS for 6th grade) and their parents are invited to an evening designed to help you with the registration process by sharing information about electives and special programs offered to incoming students. There will also be a tour of the KMS campus.
Wednesday, December 18th, students in both 6th grade classes will share Greek culture with the rest of the school through a parade and then participate in Greek food & Olympic games
